I married my translator and co-worker that I met at an Indian human rights NGO in Delhi while interning there in 2011. I'm a girldad and have a son. My wife's entire family resides in India.

I've been obsessed with R.M.S. Titanic since I was seven years old. I've had stitches in my head 11 different times (I was a precocious child).

I grew up in Madison, WI, and a small town in New Jersey. My Dad's a preacher and my mom fixes computers. My brother and sister are also both adopted from India. My brother's an ICE agent in Colorado. My sister is a nephrology nurse in Iowa.
